Discover the natural aroma of Salalah Luban, carefully selected frankincense resin known for its fresh, distinctive fragrance. Traditionally used as incense and also soaked in water, our Luban comes in its natural resin form with authentic variations in colour, shape and size.
There is something special about the aroma of natural Luban. For generations, frankincense has been part of everyday life across Oman and the Middle East, valued for its distinctive fragrance and traditional uses.
Khalfaan Salalah Luban brings you carefully selected natural frankincense resin in its original form. Every piece is naturally different, with beautiful shades ranging from light golden and honey tones to deeper amber.
Enjoy It as Traditional Incense
Place a small piece of Luban over suitable hot charcoal or in a frankincense burner. As it warms, the resin slowly releases its characteristic fresh, woody and resinous fragrance.
It is a simple way to fill your home, office or personal space with the traditional aroma of frankincense.
Traditionally Soaked in Water
Luban is also traditionally soaked in drinking water. First, wash the Luban thoroughly, then place one or two small pieces in a glass or bottle of clean drinking water.
Leave it to soak for several hours or overnight. The water may gradually become slightly cloudy or milky, which is a natural characteristic of soaked frankincense resin. Remove or strain the pieces before drinking.
Only use Luban for drinking when the product/batch has been confirmed as food-grade and suitable for consumption.
Naturally Unique
Natural Luban isn’t manufactured into identical shapes. Pieces can vary in size, colour, transparency and texture. These natural variations are part of the character of genuine frankincense resin.
Khalfaan carefully packs the selected resin so you can enjoy Salalah Luban both for its beautiful traditional aroma and its customary uses.
